Comments Thread For: Katie Taylor Vacates WBO and IBF Lightweight Titles, Remains Undisputed 140 Champ

Katie Taylor will enter her 2024 campaign with at least two fewer belts in tow. BoxingScene.com has confirmed that the legendary Irishwoman has officially vacated both her WBO and IBF lightweight titles. The decision came after a delayed process when summoned by the WBO to inform whether she planned to return to lightweight or if she will campaign at the junior welterweight division.

I think there probably gonna do the Cameron trilogy that's probably why she's vacated couple of the lightweight belts. Probably end up seeing that fight in may-june of this year at croke park if they can get that done I mean it's 1-1 so only right to have a trilogy

Either way, respeck to Taylor for freeing up the division and letting the belts go.

Some of the men really should learn from this. It’s what you’re supposed to do when you’re making it clear.

Chantell is doing everything possible to leave Hearn and Matchroom. Her promoter of choice is MVP and Jake Paul. They met and discussed this at Paul’s last fight in Florida against a pizza delivery man. Chantell is fed up with Hearn and having to go to Ireland 3 times to fight Katie. But Hearn needs to kiss Katie’s ass more than he does to Sky Nicholson.
