It depends upon how much his brother and sister rely upon Sr for their income/lifestyle. If daddy's money is what supports them they'll probably not speak out against him no matter how much they hate or like him.

His father was an abusive, adultering drug addict. Just because he had money doesn't mean he didn't have problems, and his current mental health/substance abuse issues are a direct result of his father being a scumbag.

Hopefully Jr. can get some help, get away from his father, and learn to become a good dad to his own children. Break the cycle of abuse and drugs.

Good. He shouldn't have gotten away with it when he beat the crap out of his wife in the 90s. Boxing doesn't do enough to hold its fighters accountable for being scumbags. That goes for fans, promoters, networks, athletic commissions, trainers, other fighters -- the whole boxing community. Guys who beat up children and women should be treated like the vermin they are.

my parents abused my sister and I.

i left home when I was 16. crashing at a female friend's condo for 2 years.

my sister couldn't leave. she went insane by 20. sad tbh. parents ruined the life of their own child.

I have 2 kids now. I don't even discipline them because I remind myself of my dad whenever i spank. it hurts me. abuse doesn't have to perpetuate tbh
sorry to hear that all the best to you.

His father Was/is a piece of s--t..ok got it. Nothing New there.

My question is will he continue to use his Father and upbringing as an excuse to continue to be a f--k up the rest of his life?

You're A grown man now-your father dictates NOTHING that you do now. Be a man and take responsibility for the trash reputation you have made for yourself throughout your ADULT life.

Way to air your family's dirty laundry, JR. Some things need to be worked out within the family. Telling the whole world isn't going to help you heal.
