Maybe Callum Smith can copy his brother Liam Smith and pull a win out of his ass like he did vs Eubank. But that’s a tall order. If the smaller Canelo’s offense had Callum covering up in fear for 12 rounds, despite the size and height advantage, you best believe Beterbiev would maul that ass.

I think Smith is more of a live dog than people give him credit for. Possible he was weight drained pretty bad at 168. He's a big guy for that class, and he didn't have his power vs Ryder either. I'm not sure what to think about his KO's once he moved up to 175 though, because they weren't against particularly great competition, but he was Ring champ at 168 for two years, and he was the only one of the 168 champs to make it to the final bell vs Canelo.

That being said, if he couldn't beat Canelo, it's harder to think he's going to beat Beterbiev, so I understand where the naysayers are coming from. But Yarde pushed Beterbiev pretty hard and I think Smith is better than Yarde.
