  • The main risk factor for Usyk vs Fury is not what people think.

Genuinely I have considered long and hard about this fight and I have Usyk as a heavy favourite going into it.

The main reason I have is that Fury's feet have slowed down to the point I think he won't be able to control the range with positioning which a few years ago I think he would have done better at and made it a more even fight.

Now fury is really going to have to rely solely on his reach and with Usyk's movement I think he's really going to struggle.

    BUT

There is one obscure intangible which I actually have this weird feeling may end up playing a part.

That is the risk of INJURY for Usyk.

Usyk turns 37 in 2 weeks time, and since the Chisora fight when Usyk was only 33, he hasn't had a physical fight at heavyweight. AJ and Dubois were both boxing chess matches which really suited Usyk.

Well in this one what Usyk MUST NOT DO is stay in range with Fury because I have serious concerns as to how Usyk will hold up when fury d****s that 270lbs of flab on him.

I just have this weird feeling that we are going to see something wacky in this fight like fury being a mile behind on the cards, leaning on usyk in a clinch and suddenly Usyk's knee pops or his achillies goes or something like that.

He'll be fine. He's already taken away Fury's main weapon. The mindfückery.

Fury can't get in his head like he has others. That creates doubt.

Usyk will land shots and Fury will know all about it. He'll pick greedy belly apart and feast on him.

Usyk wasn't THAT far up on the cards vs AJ. I don't think there are good odds he'll be a mile ahead of Fury.

Idk wtf you guys are looking at with Usyk being a HW Sweet Pea Whitaker or some sh^t. Dude got ****** up vs AJ. If you score the fight on judge consensus it was 8-4 (even after 8rds overall) & 7-5 (even after 10rds overall) Usyk. Fury's ring IQ puts AJ's to shame & Usyk ain't a big puncher that will end the night early potentially. And ppl still hung up on the Steve KD back in the day, gotta remember Steve got KO'd. Also Fury tends to fight to the level of his competition so its not likely we are gonna see the guy who Ngannou, Steve & Otto fought.

I will say that the situation you suggest is a good situation for an immediate rematch tho. One guy winning & then gets injured late makes the immediate rematch make sense.

Can't take Hill away. They are going to light this fool's body up like a Xmas tree. His midseason is on the level of Keith Thurman and you can't fix that with one training. Fury has the longer reach and he doesn't give away his height. 90% of the work to his trunk for the first half of the fight, paying no attention to the bobby and weaving and Lomachenko pity pat angles. 1st half of the fight should be pure stick game against him. make him fight thought body shots and Fury's reach advantage. His midsection, arms, and chest should be blood red by mid-fight if he doesn't get dropped by a body shot which I suspect he will sell off as a low blow. If he gets inside tie him up and put all your weight on him even if you have to pull him down once or twice. I don't care about Ngannou. That's Fury laying a rotten egg in a lay-up fight as usual. Fury SD. Look for Fury vs AJ in Wembley in early 2025. That's more important than watching the fraud BSing his way out of 10 counts. For all the cramp Fury does he still fights the fight when the bell rings even if it stinks up the place.

If these guys had any athletic contest side by side besides some weight lifting Usyk would make him look foolish, the only advantage Fury has is his size that’s it but he’s got the older body physically not Usyk . If anyone would fall or have an accident it’s the sloppier guy the less balanced guy in the ring .
