Lol Smith is a world class fighter but Beterbiev is an ELITE fighter who will always win 99 times out of 100 even if he's almost 39. Therefore, the outcome will be the same as when his brother faced Canelo.
I'm picking Smith, I agree he's the underdog but I think he's become a true light-heavy now, he's younger/fresher and isn't prone to injuries and (having) surgeries like Beterbiev.
Sure, he's had close fights (Ryder) and a loss (Canelo), but the most important thing is what he learned from those experiences.

Beterbiev is riddled with injuries and coming off the back off numerous surgeries and people also forget Callum Johnson put Beterbiev over with the catch counter left hook.
The same catch and counter Smith uses and they both refined/learnt it at the Gallagher gym and it's arguable Smith's is a lot crisper than Johnsons.
Is it realistic, hmm not really but if Callum has him in the same position Johnson had him he stops him, he's got much more killer instinct when he smells blood in the water.
