it took Lennox several rounds to truly adjust to Tyson's head movement and starting to nullify him

and this was a shadow of himself version of Tyson, who was nowhere near the speed & explosiveness of a prime Tyson

I got little doubts a prime Tyson would have beaten Lennox now
Well, some are of the belief that whenever Tyson lost, he wasn't at his best. Sure, he didn't best an all time great in their prime but neither did floyd

tyson managed to generate a fear factor for awhile which is not an easy thing to do, a lot of guys nowadays generate a factor alrite, but it can be more like a comedy factor but then again we will never know how the fights would go on the night

Tyson Fury would for sure use this style as he has in the past. You have to outclinch him and be the same size to beat him.

He would lean, grab and hit, dirtybox the **** out of Tyson.

I am completely unbiased, Tyson knocks out Usyk tho. that's just a style thing.
Style thing?! Because Tyson was so good v southpaws right?

Comments like this nonsense is what is wrong with boxing forums. So ridiculous.

            low iq take

lol it's styles. light puncher boxer has never come close to beating Tyson in his prime. Tyson eats that type of fighter due to his footspeed and handspeed + power.

Did you see the Chisora fight? He smothered Usyk in parts. now imagine that was Tyson. lol it's over for Usyk. he would be pissing blood.

Tyson would have ZERO idea how to fight a southpaw. Never mind a southpaw of Usyks quality.

STYLISTICALLY, Usyk is an absolute nightmare for Mike. He would implode with angles and that lead right. We're talking at least ear chomping Mike angry.

I can tell you've never been in the ring, but I can tell you even sparring southpaws is no fun, just don't see the jabs coming mainly. Tyson who would probably have never even sparred one... Horrible, horrible fight for him.

Sadly I can see from your earlier response youre probably not going to accept this as you'll have some childish response. But pleass, ask ANYONE who has stepped in the ring what its like facing a southpaw before you respond and you might get some idea how hard it would be for Mike.

usyk never fought a tyson type of fighter.

usyk doesn't hit hard enough to deter tyson from coming in. he would stop Usyk within 3 rounds. it would be a blow out.

Yes, Mike Tyson would beat the best southpaw the heavyweight/Cruiserweight division has ever seen in 3 rounds despite never ever facing a southpaw in his life.

I know this now because some dude on a forum has never even stepped in the ring thinks it'll be easy.

I only tried to help, but you know best...

The reason most Americans say Mike Tyson would knock out everybody today is because they haven't had a world class Heavyweight to get behind since that time.

Wilder finally got exposed so they've got nothing. Lennox Lewis, the Klitchskos, Fury, Usyk and AJ have been running things in the last 20 years and have made American heavyweights irrelevant where as historically pre 90s, the division was dominated by American fighters.

well i have evidence of Usyk not handling pressure well.

Chisora fight was very competitive. Bredis with his speed and power also troubled usyk. that was a controversial decision. fight was prob a draw. Beterbiev beat him with pressure and knocking him down with body shots.

none of those guys are as good as prime Tyson at heavyweight.

there's simply no film of Mike Tyson being outboxed by a fleet footed boxer over a stretch.
