Because Parker brought eyes and legitimacy to their Day of Reckoning and because its a genuine 50/50 fight with some back history that needs resolving.

They certainly arent calling for AJ v Hrgovic and couldn't give a toss about the alphabet orgs ranks and belts.

Im up for Jai and Joe, 2 of my favourite Sons of Samoa fighting on the same card again...CHEEEEHOOO!!!

Usyk/Fury is a Queensbury card. Joshy in March is a Matchroom one. There won't be many, if any fighters from either stable on those cards unless the Sauds pay for it in Saudi.

Who would you rather see AJ fight next ?

You keep pushing this idea that AJ v Parker was a controversial fight. It wasn't. It was a fairly dull fight that Joshua won pretty comfortably. No-one was calling for a rematch.

There's no back history to be resolved there. If they make that fight it will be nothing to do with 'back history'.

Every contentious victory has back history to draw on in a rematch and be exploited for build up in the pre fight pressers.

        Ruiz v AJ 2. Wilder v Fury 2 and 3.

You can't honestly say that a different ref or venue would not have changed 2018 AJ v Parker. Maybe the result would have been the same. Who knows.

And Parker didnt have a rematch clause. He rarely does. AJ doesnt put a glove on without one. Who's to know what would have happened in a rematch then.

But to say that 2024 AJ would do the same to 2024 Parker is a mighty long bow to draw. We do have the opportunity for a rematch now. Both are at the top of their game, supposedly, and without belts. Get it on and get it sorted once and for all.

What we do know is AJ dont want that smoke and Eddie isn't prepared to find out.

          Lol
          Different Ref? or Different Venue?
          Lol
Parker got beaten soooo easily by AJ
Why don't you get Parker to rematch Joe Joyce & Dillian Whyte
He lost to both of those guys
Where's your passion for 2024 version of Parker to avenge those Losses

            Parker ain't half-stepping or back-stepping.

Whyte ducked Parker after headbutting him for a dubious decision. Joyce needs to earn another shot at any legit contender.

AJ is the biggest target for Parker to avenge a loss too. Why wouldnt he go after the best ? Surely you want the best to fight the best ?

Boxrec has Parker and AJ at 2 and 3. Ahead of Fury and behind Usyk.

Dude is the best of a mediocre bunch and i don't think I've said much about his boxing skills.

AJ can box. He's definitely not horribly unskilled. He's just fragile and insecure about testing himself to the absolute limit anymore.

I get why and that's mostly cos of Fast Eddie mollycoddling him and pandering to his diva like qualities.

It's a simple question of heart and effort at the highest level that still needs answering and that Parker is best suited to ask.

I don't hate the guy. I just think there's a weakness to his game that can be exploited and that is, he doesn't know who he is as a fighter and neither have his many trainers.

Parker didn't have a rematch clause because he was the very, very clear b side. Not because he's some sporting purist.

Joshua won very clearly. A different referee would only have made a difference if he carried a baseball bat and pot-shotted Joshua between rounds.

And why is AJ the person obligated to give deserving contenders fights? He did that for years through having 3 belts and having to face mandatories. He's not a titlist right now. Why doesn't Parker have to give some deserving contenders a fight?

I very much doubt they fear Parker's 'smoke'. I'm sure they're looking at the biggest fights possible at this stage of AJ's career.

I think you've got an obsession mate. Joshua is just one boxer in the division. Have a think about what other fighters should do rather than focusing on how Joshua should be fighting anyone you want him to.

What should Parker do? Zhang? Hrgovic? They're responsible for their careers, not Joshua.

He doesn't have that kind of choice. If they fight it will be Joshua's choice. And Joshua will be looking at titles or fights with commercial upside.
