Did his death and the Castillo win inflate Chico's career?

I know it was a great comeback but he did bend the rules in that final round and took advantage of an unsure ref. Castillo may have had the win stolen from him. Many fans respect Chico I'm one of them but has his death and the rule bending win over Castillo bloated his career and accomplishments?

Dude, Ref took a point away. Corrales faced the consequences of dropping his mouth piece. I was rooting for JLC but even I thought that was a smart move by Corrales. Everytime I watch that I get chills man. Still a solid career.

naw he was well respected and feared in the super feather division before that. The castillo fights did elevate him some though and he was smart to use what he could to remain in the fight. Castillo was silly for getting caught with punches from a hurt fighter.

He did lose his final 3 fights and seemed to be shot or at least fading fast. Agree?

instead of going to 147, he should have stopped at 140. But neither castillo or him was ever the same after there fights. So i guess i agree, but his name was made at 130.

I thought it was a bit shady that he spit out the mouth piece but Castillo already got him back by not making weight. I don't think his career is bloated at all though. He was a very good fighter and I would have no problem seeing him in the hall of fame
