Espinoza won the 6th and Ramirez won the 7th. And that was it for him. Espinoza won 8-12 with a knockdown in the 12th. An honest scorecard reads 116-110 at a minimum. 117-109 if you give Espinoza the 1st. As it was, Espinoza had to have the knockdown in the 12th just to win. This “the right guy won” excuse just ain’t good enough to look the other way when scoring is crooked.

You're right, Ramirez 1, espinoza 2-4, but 5,6,7 and 8 went to Ramirez, espinoza was not the same after the knockdown, actually if that punch has landed 20 seconds before, the fight probably would have been over. The ninth round saw espinoza with a second wind and Ramirez slowing down, still they kept trading punches, with espinoza landing more.

I have no earthly idea how you could give Ramirez the 6th or the 8th. Espinoza rounds, not even close. As you said trading punches in both rounds with Espinoza landing considerably more.

And Ramirez were hurting him. I could say the same thing to you but I'm not, the fight was close and espinoza closed the show. Cong**** to a humble and classy athlete. They will meet again and is going to be another 4 of July.

Better rewatch the 6th and the 8th. Ramirez didn’t “hurt” Espinoza in either round. Espinoza outlanded Ramirez in both rounds and with more power. Clear Espinoza rounds.

Have it you way. The fact is that espinoza won, and the fans won too, and if is a rematch we all are going to win. I'm not a fan of rewatching sport events.
