He’s not going to fight Sanchez because Sanchez would beat him. That’s an easy fight to make since both are represented by Haymon and would be great to have on Amazon but I just don’t see the rotund Mexican American taking that fight

This has been my point. I am no Wilder fan, and am as happy for Parker that he won as anyone out there. Wilder has been disrespectful in losses, selective in his matchmaking, and surrounded by "yes men" who have fed his ego. Basically, Wilder has been good for boxing in the ring and from a headlines angle, but bad for boxing in legacy and building a larger fan base.

But that does not make him wrong on Ruiz. Andy wants elite money for his time. Andy is simply not worth elite money. He brings some eyeballs and is worth good money, but even half of those demands you listed is too much, and Fury's team said the same thing Wilder's team did. They tried to hammer out a deal, but Ruiz wanted too much. Let see Ruiz fight next year against anyone before he gets a real payday. Earn your way back or move on to something else like teaching water aerobics.
