There's nothing to prove with Wilder Parker 2 but a rematch against Joshua proves a lot more, not only given the dubious nature of the win, but also in who is actually the better fighter in 2024 and deserving of a title shot sooner.

AJ smacking around his overrated sparring partner tells us nothing. Parker shutting out Wilder speaks volumes.

I’m sorry but Parker too has had to rebuild, he too has taken some losses not too long ago may I add. He fought Wilder who even when he was active could not box talk less he beat an inactive Deontay. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great name on his resume but you saw the fight what was amazing about his performance? It regards to the rematch I agree Parker has nothing to prove but if Deontay wants the AJ fight and to prove he is still that guy that’s what he should do or at least pretend he wants to run it back. As for AJ I never rated Wallin in the first place so he did what he was supposed to

Joshua only fought Usyk because he was a light puncher in the division and he didn't think that he would could hurt him. Of course he got wore down in the first fight and was almost out at the end. He only rematched Usyk because he lost. When he lost the rematch he put on a childish post fight act.

Same with Ruiz who was supposed to be an easy out. He only rematched to avenge the loss but never got the respect of Ruiz in that fight. Ruiz could only think about his post fight meal and how he would spend all that cash.

Usyk was AJ mandatory so whether he was heavy handed or not he had to fight him or drop a belt

Negative he pretty much has a rematch clause in all his fights. When he was a champion I was in favour of it because I punch can change a fight especially being a heavyweight. Now he is not champion I’m not a fan of the two fight deal but he had a 2 fight deal in place with Wallin. Nevertheless he is the draw so that’s his stipulation I suppose

The truth is some people are very negative and watch a sport just to whinge about it and I accept that.

It was a voluntary. It would always have a rematch clause.

That's just boxing. Which you don't seem to understand much about.

Okay I will spell it out since you can't see past your own opinion. He took the Usyk and Ruiz fights because he thought he could win, not because it would elevate his status.
When he fights someone like I mentioned with heart and skills like Fury, Usyk, Wilder, Zhang, Joyce and Ruiz that will mean something. These fighters have shown they can do something in the ring.
                  - - AJ and Usyk have the best resumes in their weightclasses plus both won Olympic Gold.

Fragile insecure AJ had a rematch clause for Wallin...lol

Rematches arent mandatory for any fight, voluntary or otherwise. AJ's clauses are all Fast Eddies doing because even he doesn't believe in AJ.

Interesting twist. Do they really? I'd like to see that providing Wallin doesn't take a dive again. I believe an authentic fighting Wallin can beat him or at least make it a very good fight. But I doubt if the boxing bosses will allow that. They arranged the travesty last night, and Wallin didn't even get the courtesy of the post fight interview of the loser that everyone else got. Guess his team didn't pay off the proper bag men, or the bosses just don't think Sweden has the money generating potential that the UK does, or both.
