Andy has actually slimmed down a lot since he was last seen in the ring.

So, Ruiz only needs to be 258 in this potential fight to set the record.

      Can he do it?

Lizzo might sing the national anthem.
Record was already broken. Miller's last fight against Lucas Browne. Combined weight was 610lbs

He has, but didn't it affect his punch resistance? I'm sure I have memory of him being rocked by a lesser fighter.

Are we counting Eddie Hall vs Hafthor Bjornnson? Because they fought in a boxing ring, and combined weight there was 760 lbs... And not as much lard involved in that weight either.

Talking about Andy Ruiz? Not current Andy Ruiz. How about Andy Ruiz that showed up for AJ 2nd fight? That dude was a whale waiting to be harpooned (Larry Merchant line).

Though yeah, besides the monstrosities that we'll see in the ring, their punch output could make it a very fan friendly fight.

Eddie Hall always look like a lard to me, lol. He's got that keg super belly when he's all jacked up. Though yeah, the Gods were generous when they created Hafthor. That dude is a unit and has like zero fat on him at like 6'7 or something. Granted, he might of dabbled in the dark arts to get there, but who doesn't unless they're competing at a serious level?

I stand corrected. Ruiz needs to be 277 then. Is there hope?

Pump your brakes, kid. We are talking boxing here. Fit 100% clean professional boxers, not your roided up freaks.
