We just don't know what will happen against better competition with Boots yet, he passes the eye test but if you boxed even trained and sparred you know you can look really good against newer people training but then local pros school you.

You don't need a pedigree necessarily to beat an elite fighter. Its happened in the past many times. That kind of mentality is why boxing sucks and we never get the fights we want at the right time. Boots has 32 pro fights he is experienced enough.

That guy just ran. He wasn't trying to win a rd. Bud don't fight like that.

Granted Boots didn't cut off the ring well that night.

          - - Craw ol’timer now can’t never draw flys whereas Bootsy just starting prime can’t draw flies.

          Fight is DOA…end of…

Right, he is not a fighter who bases his defense on movement but we're talking about Boots fighting an elite champion who isn't missing anything so I am pointing to something Bud could find a way to exploit to his advantage.

Think Crowley retired over fighting Boots next. That was supposed to be the next fight. I know he said he retired on his IG mos ago & there has been no talk of him fighting anyone since. Probably just waiting for his mando situation to pop up cuz hes the mando for one of the belts.

Last I heard Stanionis, like shortly after the Vergil fight got effed up again, wanted a fight before he'd fight Boots. He hasn't fought anyone in the mos since I heard that.

Thurman is just looking for cash out PPV fights or fights he can win it seems like & Boots ain't at that level of popularity yet for PPV & I don't think he sees that as a fight he's favored to win.

Barrios & Santillan might be doable next year. Barrios is the best guy legit calling out Boots so that'd be my bet for next rn.

Bud is gonna get hit vs Boots tho. Bud ain't as elusive as Boots so Bud is gonna need to be more concerned with whats coming at him then Boots will need to be. And Boots would be the hardest puncher & biggest guy hes been in the ring with by a mile.

This is a whole other thing than Bud has experienced. Theres a reason Shakur, Bud's homie, is saying he don't wanna see that fight. Shakur came up with Boots & knows how good he is & how many problems hes bringing to folks when ppl start fighting him.

I'd love for this fight to happen to prove a lot of folks wrong but Bud ain't ****** & deserves to cash out from here out not get his name on someone whos still coming up resume.

He'll get blasted out in 5 rounds. That's the reality of it.

I'm not too sure about that right now, he has alot of tomato cans on his record, Haney has an okish ko% for the same reason. I need to see Boots stop someone better or at least with proven durability to assess his power at an elite level.

Realistically though, its never going to happen and Boots will just go belt collecting and contender smashing on his way to undisputed as he should at this point.
