Let's just say that others have tried but failed.

This is the kind of career that we could well see exposed against a guy like Lopez. I give Haney some credit because he is skilled, but he needs a win against a guy like Lopez. A top fighter in his prime, at least if Haney is going to talk so much.

I think you may be right. The last time Bill Haney propositioned Teofimo,Sr for a fight against Devin Haney; He said that they would need at least $20 Mil. So there's your answer. The Lopez' are going to price themselves out of the fight because they know it's a fight they won't win.

Garcia is a risk but he can be out boxed and for that reason I suspect Ryan Garcia is going to be Bill Haney's preferred opponent.

Teofimo is an aggressive pressure/counter puncher with speed and if he shows up to fight Devin gets knocked out. Style wise, Teo is poison.
If what you are saying is true and I have no doubt that it is. Then why was Bill Haney spotted at the Lopez/Taylor fight propositioning Teofimo Lopez, Sr for a title shot against his son?

Teofimo Lopez, Sr immediately priced themselves out of the fight by demanding $20Mil. That doesn't sound like someone who is eager to make a fight to me. As a boxing fan; That fight would be a dream come true.

This would be an awesome fight.

Teofimo has the skills to box with Devin plus the explosiveness to hurt him as well. When he has his head on straight.

Yes. The last two years he stayed in good fights and will start 2024 the same way. We have too many guys who are content with stay busys.

It's the next natural fight (and the true fight to determine 140 lb supremacy) but nobody could blame Devin if he made a pitstops and makes a career high payday against the extremely overrated Ryan Garcia.

Ryan is like the perfect risk/reward ratio for top tier dudes. They can make huge sums of money and have a greater than 50% chance of winning. That's sort of a rarity in boxing. Usually big names with tons of cash come with the risk too since USUALLY they get big by being very good at boxing. Not with Ryan. It's a new age. You can get big outside of boxing (Jake Paul anyone) and be a mediocre boxer and be a star. Twilight zone times for our sport.

But yes we may have to wait but Devin vs Teo is the fight at 140 and will remain so for the next two years ... I think I got Devin for a close UD.
Ryan Garcia can’t be rated more lowly and seen as more of a joke than he is seen by boxing fans as he does now. So idk how he can be overrated when every post about him is about how much he sucks and how he isn’t a real fighter.

As much **** as the father talks, you would think that he's the fighter.
Teofimo Jr. won't be getting past Haney's jab, Haney is Kambosos on steroids.
He will bust up Tefimo's face even worse than Kambosos did when he fought, and beat Teofimo.

I think it’s a good match up. It won’t be next. Bill Haney will make sure not to let Ryan lose again before Devin fights him. That’s pretty much a lock! I think Lopez should go after Subriel Mathias, get another belt, then he has more value in negotiations with the Haney’s. Lots of intriguing possibilities
