I know he has fallen off but how would Haney fair against the version of Josh Taylor who beat Prograis?

Was just think the same. Both these young fighters took the proverbial “passing of the torch” from past their prime fighters. The Prograis and Taylor of the WBSS were different animals. That’s boxing though. Out with the old and in with the new. Let’s have them fight each other now.

Ive watched the Haney Prograis fight twice. Af first watch it was impressive. What becomes apparent after a second watch is that Prograis is shot. Haney now beat a terrible fighter in Kambosis to win belts. He got beat by Loma and got a gift decision. And he beat a shot Prograis to claim himself as fighter of the year.

This is the kind of career that we could well see exposed against a guy like Lopez. I give Haney some credit because he is skilled, but he needs a win against a guy like Lopez. A top fighter in his prime, at least if Haney is going to talk so much.

Lopez will continue to duck just like he did at 135. It's always going to be some kind of excuse. Guaranteed

Pretty sure that's the gameplan everyone has.

Loma managed it somewhat, but hes a southpaw and it took away his own jab too.

Teo might try to weave his way past the jab, but thats hard work if he doesnt land on Haney early. Dont think circling left will be enough v Haneys speed and footwork.

Great fight though. Let's see it happen.

Haney is more active & that means a lot. Teofimo is dangerous but can he figure Haney out? Make the fight!
