Not really, but that was more the refs fault.

The ref had one head scratching moment and that's it. To claim Parker lost due to that moment is crazy and reaching in an extreme manner. The fight wasn't good to watch because Parker disengaged and only came to last the distance. Not win.

Of course the rematch with AJ was a defence. Why would you think it not?

There shouldn't have been a rematch clause for the Fury/Wlad fight. Wlad had to pay his mandatory (Fury) extra money to have one put into the contract. However, Wlad was told that should a rematch happen, he would be stripped of the IBF for refusing a satisfy the IBF mandatory. Fury was in no way shape or form obliged to allow Wlad have a rematch clause put into the contract. Fury did so for extra money for himself. It's his damn fault in the first place as both were told what would happen. Don't cry when you're the very reason to why he was stripped.
