Joshua is not obligated to fight Zhang. The winner of Fury-Usyk is.

The plan is clear and it is pathetic: AJ will wait for the IBF to strip the winner of Fury-Usyk, so he will face Hrgovic hoping that he will win the title and will claim he is a champion again. In the meantime, I doubt Hrgovic will be arranged any decent fight, unlike AJ. Then the winner of Fury-Usyk will have a rematch, eventually some defense and in the meantime, Eddie S*um and his dosser will claim they are avoided for a unification fight.

AJ was beating up Ruiz and was first and only boxer to knock him down properly. It was just that he got reckless and got clipped. That has happened to many elite boxers in the past. He went straight back to Ruiz to revenge his loss when all so called experts were saying that that wasn't wise because Ruiz has gotten his number. The rest is history. Before the last weekend bout vs Otto Wallin, they were saying that he shouldn't have taken on a live dog like Wallin who is also a southpaw. And then after he has destroyed him their tunes started to change and they are trying to play his win down. Haters will never stop to hate. AJ is back whether you folks like it or not....he's once again the biggest draw at HW and those who are looking for a payday are lining up now. AJ will certainly become a champion again next year.

I won't buy that there is all this money there til I see it.
The biggest PPVs ever in the UK and the USA do about 1.3%-2.7% capture i'm just throwing a random number out there in the case of potential PPVs, I doubt they would do that but Zhang always claims to do that exact amount on TV in China against nobodies but that's on free to air i'd imagine.

No one's obligated to do anything. You don't know the rotation.

Andy Ruiz is a 5'10 fat tub in a wheel chair. You are supposed to beat him.

the fact this 5'10 lard beat Joshua into submission is not something that can be erased. He's fragile and hittable. period. Zhang will easily clip him. and when he does in his current form, Joshua does a funny dance.

Yea I understood what you were doing & I wasn't trying to debate your attempt at giving a number range tbf.

I'm just saying we have zero idea of the potential of boxing in china til SOMEONE does something there & no one seems in a rush to do anything there for proof of concept they can make a dollar doing PPV there. The fact they haven't done a Zhang PPV there yet, afaik anyway, makes me think they already know the metrics don't match up with the optimistic potential some keep talking about to hype Zhang's fights.

It sucks for Zhang & guys who've been in that position or will be in that position in the future, but it is what it is in this business.
For real, I'd love to watch it. I think it's a great match. Zhang could easily KO Joshua if he lands a good shot , but if the sharpshooter style Joshua that beat Wallin comes along I give it to Joshua with a late KO.

It's not a PPV fight for sure, but it's worth a watch.

Reality is Joshua has to go for Hargovic to get the mandatory spot while Fury and Usyk fight in Feb. Considering he barely broke sweat last weekend, he should be able to fight in Feb or early March so he stays active and is ready and free to fight the winner. My brain says it should be a shutout for Fury, but who knows with Usyk's skillet.

You tell him comrade. I could see him landing on AJ at will as AJ's upper body movement is below average.
I wanna see Dubois vs Zhang first though, that's be a good one.
