I liked this version of Joshua. No more gun shy. Can beat the F out of Fury

Joshua had a good performance. But, he wasn't gun shy because he didn't have to fear what would be coming back. I hope he does get his confidence back. I genuinely like the guy. I think he beats Hrgovic, but he needs a couple more good performances before he has a chance against Fury (if Fury doesn't look terrible like in his last fight) or Zhang.

That would be great, but realistically Hrgovic is a title fight and in-house so Zhang isn't getting the AJ shot next. But if the Saudis plan to stack their undercards in future then at least we can see Zhang vs a top 10 opponent on the Fury/Usyk card.

They can't avoid you if you get in mandatory position. Should have beaten Hrgovic! Aj will be fighting him (Hrgovic) for a reason - to hopefully get a belt in future. That could have been Zhang.

Zhang should fight Parker. Get himself next in line or near enough

He’s fighting as a us fighter not a Chinese homeland fighter. They are very particular about stuff like that. Had he still been training and living in China, he would be mobbed everywhere he goes and likely would be earning tens of millions in endorsements. Having spent time in China, they really don’t respect their own who leave the country to get rich and whatnot.

Zhang is tailor made for Joshua I think, mid to late round KO once his 40 year old body has gassed out.

too bad for Zhang, he probably won't be getting a big fight any time soon, and his time is running out. We have the Fury-Usyk fight, then most likely Joshua-Hrgovic. If Fury beats Usyk and Joshua beats Hrgovic, then we probably get Fury-Joshua, or we simply get rematches.

Lose lose fight for Joshua, if he wins everyone will say Zhang too old like Kiltchko, if he loses he'll be back to square one and will likely lose all confidence again. I guess it will back the Wilder fight back on the map, but both will have lost millions of dollars of value for that fight, but it'll still be a good chunk of retirement money for whoever loses again.
