I think Zhang Vs Parker would be a great fight. Zhang beat Joyce who Parker lost to and Parker has just beaten Wilder. Would be a top match-up
Gotta be honest, this is the same Wilder we’ve always seen, bar the first Stiverne fight when he used the jab all night.

He simply isn’t a good boxer and has been exposed regularly as he stepped even to the B-tier of guys like Ortiz and Parker. Parker is a really solid fighter, good movement, good jab and smart enough to deliver a game plan and adapt as he goes.

what Wilder had was a right hand and, generally, he was able to pick a moment to deliver it, even against Fury. All it took was a guy not giving him options to work with. Parker beat Wilder easier than Fury did. Sure, he’s shop worn after those fights, but he didn’t look notably different.

What did I say? The only thing that can stop Wilder v AJ is rheumatism, arheritis, or some other old man disease. Eddy is keeping AJ afloat with his hand picked cherries. Lets not forget AJ got KOd by a Maraschino. If they do fight, it'll be geezer night.

It's not all about age. Zhang at 40 destroyed Joyce and arguably won vs hrgovic. Today he's probably the best top 10 who is not involved in an undisputed fight. Anderson could also be a good benchmark for Parker (or vice versa).

Wilder keeps making the same mistakes over and over again. Why was Wilder backing up? You ever see Foreman or Shavers back up. if he has the power then he has to bring it. Only a skilled fighter can make that work. Wilder is not one of those. A trainer is not the problem. you can't fix ******,

            Joyce himself is nearly 40

Part of the Wilder mystique is his obvious athletic ability. He used to intimidate his stiffer opponents with catlike crouches moving side to side and dropping the bomb. Not by boxing. He wasnt athletic looking at all this fight. He was fighting so stiff and timid. More than I ever saw him. It made me take notice of his skinny legs because when they aren't moving they just look weak.

Like I said, Zhang might have been 40 before he got trapped in that bottle for 1000 years, but now he looks about 56.

Agreed that Parker did well. But I did think Wilder looked way worse than normal. Don't forget almost no one has been able to hit Fury - but Wilder managed it a ton of times and put him down too. He even landed that 3 punch combo on Fury that put Fury down first fight after putting a read on where Fury moves his head. I expect Wilder to be a lot better next time. He will probably throw caution to the wind. One thing I was impressed with was Wilder's chin. He's a skinny guy but he took some hard shots from Parker with ease. Definitely got exposed a bit though.

If everyone judged Wlad on his punch-shy performance against Fury he would be a terrible fighter. But next fight against AJ he put caution to the wind and went for it. Sometimes it takes a loss to take that pressure off
