Yeah...Saudi blood money has shifted the power balance towards the fighters rather than the promoters and org rankings for mandos and straps.

AJ wants to go down as a 3 time world champ not the guy who fought a busted old windmill in the desert.

There was more money in this 5 years ago. Joshua didnt fight Wilder for 50-100 million, but got KOd for 20.

He’d lose to them both so might as well lose to the one that makes most money and that’s wilder

AJ has enough money for him, his kids and grandkids to live in luxury for the next 100 years if it's managed correctly. But there's honour in being a world champion. You can't buy honour.

And from a business perspective, AJ would get even more money if he fought Wilder or Fury AFTER winning the the IBF strap. Then he enters the negotiations as a world champion. The fight is even bigger.

True , but he's done great business so far only stumbling on a forced match with Ruiz and what he said and thought would be easy with Usyk(I'll walk straight through him..his words) .Fighting Wilder could be the end. FH, might be the more lucrative option ...and much safer with more fights to follow , which seems to be his plan. We'll know more tomorrow ! Lets face it even the Saudi money couldn't get them in the same ring!

"...Many have speculated that the IBF would, in that scenario, strip the winner of the belt and elevate Hrgovic to champion".
Obviously, a "title" that is that cheaply won and cheaply lost, is worth nothing.

Only a very casual fan would fail to see this (and some have posted here already)

Joshua would be better off getting a big payday against a meaningful opponent, and settling the question once and for all as to who the best black fighter of the 21st century really is.

Fighting Wilder would be a much bigger payday and a much bigger fight than fighting for a meaningless and phony belt.

When this great bill of faces was announced I thought most questions outside of Fury and Usyk would be answered , it won't be the case , not even with all the Saudi money .We will for sure know a little more tomorrow and all these posts could be a complete waste of time... sit tight !

True, but we don't know if we see tomoro. What if Josh loses to wallin? What if Josh loses to flip too? Then we don't get to see wilder v josh. If the idea is to see wilder v josh. Josh even fighting wallin is an extra barrier to a wilder v josh fight happening
