  • Comments Thread For: Hearn Says He Would Advise Joshua to Fight Wilder over Possible Title Shot Against Hrgovic

If push came to shove, promoter Eddie Hearn says he would likely advise his top heavyweight charge, Anthony Joshua, to go after the more lucrative fight over an opportunity to become a three-time champion.

    Well colour me surprised !

Fast Eddie would take Saudi blood money over an alphabet org strap. Who woulda thunk eh ?

Sheikh Bonesaw probably don't wanna see AJ vs Hrgy so wouldnt stump up for it. Meaning it'd be a championship fight with grifting fees for an org in a UK soccer stadium.

But a Wilder fight in the Kingdom for no belt, little work on the fast one's part and healthy chunk of change to line his pocket.

Oh fück yes says Master Edward with glee!

Joshua will fight whoever makes him the most money like most fighters.

Kinda makes me wonder if the Saudis will be the impetus to reform the alphabet organizations. If champions keep dropping their belts or chances to fight for the belts to take Saudi fights, they're going to have no choice but to cozy up with the Saudis or each other.

Won't believe this horseshít until the bell rings, Eddie is known for waffling on about who AJ will be fighting next and then he ends up in with the guy he claims he'd never be fighting.

sounds like the duo are moving off the same page judging by recent interviews, i guess its wait and see how the next fights pan out before a final decision

Joshua should take the Wilder fight. I've seen so many fighters waste their career trying to get that title shot. Belts don't mean much now there are so many of them. Go for the legacy. Wilder is a danger to anyone but he rarely fights young top-10 guys so how much of a danger, we don't yet know. Also no shame in losing. Only shame would be in not trying.
