  • Comments Thread For: Wilder Believes There is 'A lot of Pressure' on Joshua Ahead of Wallin Bout

Heavyweight contender Deontay Wilder believes the pressure is mounting on division rival Anthony Joshua. Both boxers will appear in separate bouts on Saturday in Saudi Arabia as part of the big 'Day of Reckoning' card. Wilder will collide with fellow former champion Joseph Parker in the co-main, with Joshua headlining the card against Otto Wallin.

Of course there is pressure on Joshua 'Joshua holds himself to a high standard, and? The boxing community holds Joshua to a high standard'.

I think Wilder's behavior this entire fight week, has displayed that 'He is also really under big pressure'.

There is a lot of intimidation tactics being used by Wilder, but? I have noticed that he is never direct with any of his intimidation methods.

Wilder was all matey matey with Joshua during the first press conference for this event 'Then it was only after the press conference, did Wilder start to pipe up and talk as if Joshua was petrified'.

Note: Wilder is all over the place in my opinion, it is also never a good image 'To also have your mates, gang up on Joshua'.

I rate Wilder as a fighter within this era of Heavyweights, but? I don't think he is the type of fighter which has other fighters intimidated outside of the ring 'Wilder seems to believe he is that type of fighter' etc.

In retrospect Deontay mighta been projecting his own sh^t here. He sh^t the bed big time & didn't even show up to his fight which was also a test too...that he ended up failing.
