Comments Thread For: Conor Benn on Chris Eubank Jr: 'Will the Fight Happen In The Future? Definitely Not'

Conor Benn is prepared to move on from Chris Eubank Jr. for good. One day after Benn's promoter, Eddie Hearn, expressed doubt that a deal could be reached in time for the sworn rivals to fight each other on Feb. 3 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Eubank's promoter, Kalle Sauerland, told an outlet that talks were officially dead in the water.

Little Benn should try and clear his name with BBBOC and IF he is successful should try beating someone with a pulse , until then ...

Didn't he already do that when he got his suspension lifted?

Apparently not, as he still can’t fight in England. I guess it does matter what the BBBoC says after all.

The fights been dead since it came out Conor failed his drug test 3 days before even tho they knew for 6 weeks beforehand they still tried to let it happen. It's a Novelty act fight going off British boxing nostalgia from the past. There trying to twist it and say this is eubanks fault when Conor is the one who failed a drug test and eubank wants to be well paid to fight a guy who has failed a test.

He can fight in England, as he's not suspended.

They've appealed the decision made at the hearing but once that appeal, supposedly January, get's rejected then there's nothing they'll be able to do about it.

Eubank is a clown chasing an imaginary bag. Even his own father walked away from his carnival act.

No . The BBBOC , with who Benn is licensed (was , his license expired) work under a 'strict liability', where HE or anyone else caught with illegal drugs in their system must give evidence of why and how , he to date has refused to do this .Until he does that he will NOT fight in the UK. any other 'bodies' do not matter , they have to fight in the UK as no one else is that interested.
