Comments Thread For: Bomac On Devin Haney Possibly Fighting Crawford: "He Would Ruin That Boy's Career"

It seemed incredibly unlikely, a pipe dream, wishful thinking, and simply a waste of time to even talk about. Both Devin Haney and Terence Crawford have always been friendly with one another. Also, and more importantly, they competed in vastly different weight classes.

Haney is a very good boxer but I don't see a scenario where he survives a full 12 rounds against Crawford. Bud has very good sense of range and timing and a nastiness that would wreck Haney. I think Devin would have to wait out Bud for at least another 4 or so years before Father Time evened things a bit.

Bud would beat Devin so bad that Bill would feel the pain

Regardless of Haney I don't think Bud will stay active for 4 more years. I expect him to do the worthless Spence rematch he will win with ease for money, then Tszyu to become a four division champ then possibly try to strike retirement funding from Canelo or if not then maybe Jermell then retire.

Even if they were the same size and weight Bud would destroy Haney , weight divisions are there for a reason as Bud may destroy more than his career....more silly different weight division talk...this will end in tears!

This shouldn't even be entertained IMHO. Haney is lucky he wasn't around when Bud was at 135 or 140. Haney is better off challenging Ennis who is desperate for a dance partner.

Yoooooo, where was that energy when boots said “come get your belt back” had a whole different tune that’s hilarious. Boots pulled buds hoe card, easy to be a bully to a smaller Haney but didn’t say sh.it to boots! lolololol

tank has put a marker down that if devin shows his face back at 135 he will be in big big trouble, hes like a shark circling his prey, now buds team have flexed their muscles almost threatening devin, hes basically trapped
