Considering how many big fights he ducked, I think there's a reason the fights "couldn't be made." Backed out of a Charlo fight, Lara, and even the likes of Zach Parker and of course his own mandatory, who is now unified champ, Alimkhanuly.

DAZN was offering 7-10 million to fight him. I don't want to hear about no damn 200k undercard fight for Jermell 10-12 years or some 3 Showtime deal with Lara Espinoza never confirmed (That's like Wilder running around here with the 50 million verbal agreement with AJ). DAZN was offering massive purses, not 1 million in a shoebox ring with all advantages to Benavidez.

I hear you. But there's still a pattern. Guy has backed out of every single big fight he's ever been offered until Benavidez, regardless of promoter or time in his career, and taken an easier opponent every time.
