He does look good. The kid is fluid and strong. I wish him the best, but I don't want him to rush things. Ronnie should let him get some more rounds with a bit stiffer competition.

Charlo is a much bigger name than Morrell and a WC, its a better fight for Benavidez. Morrell is all risk no reward. If he destroys Morrell is anyone going to give him any credit for beating a 10-0 fighter? I cant even even do that and I'm a big fan..

And if Morrell Jr is the one beating benavidez, is he going to get credit or they're going to call benavidez a bum?

The thing is that you don't see a guy with one fight fighting another with 22-0, he's been on the fast track since his second fight and so far he had an answer for everything that was thrown at him, granted benavidez is the top dog in that division, realistically who else can prepare you for him? Because the division is crap, he can fight plant, if he agrees, and if he blast him in one round, do you think he's ready? How about if he wins a decision? The fact of the matter is that the only guy that he could learn from is benavidez and viceversa. Don't get me wrong I'm all for the experience thing but how do you know you're ready for a guy like that.

I agree on that. There’s a big void between the guys Morrell’s been fighting and Benavidez. Precious few to prepare with. Agbeko’s record looked good until you checked the guy’s he’s fought. Not very impressive. Compare that with Espinoza, who I was a little concerned about going into the Ramirez fight.

We were both concerned, Ramirez fell in love with his power, and if it was a 20 seconds more left in the 5th round, he would had knock espinoza out, but he would have not learn what he learned by going the distance, I'll put my money on Ramirez if they fight again because I know he's a better boxer and now I know he can grind and can take a punch, is not going to be easy but I don't see Ramirez with the same reckless abandon and we know he can hurt him with one punch. You remember when they announced Morrell's jr fight with Aidos, the same guy that knocked out Allen the guy that went 12th with Morell jr, how many people were saying Aidos was going to trash DMJ? A bunch of them, point it that out, Aidos had ko the guy he couldn't, the infamous triangle theory, after the fight Aidos was a bum a bum that stood out and tried until the end.
