Best record/worst opposition in boxing?

Would had said Jaime Munguia at middleweight, but after checking Abel's record, he wins.

I would of put Jamie Mungia on the list but he showed guts vs Seregei Drev and is my fight of the year so far.

well the active guys maybe one day they will get their chit together.

for the retired guys, a lot of them had long streaks of nothing. some even just maybe 1 or 2 major wins in their career.


Ricky Hatton - was just a weight bully, guy was like 160+ likey haney at 140. had to end career early when he couldnt make 140 anymore because he was useless against even average guys his size at 147

Calzaghe - fought a ton of bums, whats his only good win against a non shot fighter, Kessler is about it.

Hopkins - his 20 title defenses were against bums. literally 25% of his title defenses were against Robert Allen and Antqon Echols, fighting them 5 times total, nobody even asked for those ****fest fights. He didnt even really kick off his career until his damn 40s and if you watch he was constantly fouling, crying, trying to get the ref to deduct points on his opponents. Had some decent ones in there like pavlik and tarver fights.

Roy Jones - also had a long stretch of nothing but bums for years.

Andre ward -was supposed to be the next big thing after super six and then spent 4 years on a bum a year tour.

Sven Ottke was probably the worst. retired early because people kept asking he fight someone with a pulse and that would be too dangerous. He was the Andrande of the 90s

I looked into it a few days ago and you are correct and had a few runners up for the title from that area of the world but Abel Mendoza was the most standout case I could find.

Wilder comes to mind as someone who is regarded very highly by some, but has never beaten a top boxer, and spent most his World Championship reign fighting no hopers
