Prograis had weight and power. It just didn’t matter, because he couldn’t get past the stick jab. Just like Kambosos. But even when Regis eventually got in, he ate flush straight rights.

That’s a strategy gap, not a weight one. As Regis himself said.

No way. Haney has as much personality as an unseasoned potato. Besides he's a good kid as far as we know. His dad has to play the antagonist for him. I think if people hate Haney it's because he appeared to duck Shakur and the Loma rematch.

Floyd used to be a good kid too. Lol.

He didn’t duck either if you’re saying he should fight them at 135 now. He can’t make that weight anymore.

Loma rematch at 140 makes no sense. He definitely should fight Shakur. I think it will happen at 147, not 140.

That's not a realistic offer. 60/40 would have been fair just because Haney had the belts. But what makes Haney think he can offer someone a 25% split. Bro, you're not bringing that any money to the table. Haney is still largely a nobody so a 25% split is basically a **** you offer. That's the kind of offer you make when you're not serious about the fight, but want to save face.

He only offered Shakur 25%. Shakur said that would amount to less than what he got paid in his previous fight.

He should have rematched Loma at 135. That was arguably a fight that he loss. If you want to compare yourself to Floyd Mayweather then you have to run close fights back. That's probably another reason why people are hating on Haney. His actions aren't matching his words.

haney had to take a crap split himself to make the kambo fight and a rematch away, u do these things if u back yourself and are serious, shakur says haney is a win for him so it should be a no brainer imo, make the fight and take the belts and u are the guy making the demands to everyone

Well…when you’re much bigger than your opponent, you can probably take their punches a lot better, and your punches will pack more power behind them.

All the skill in the world wouldn’t save 165lb Haney if he was fighting 185lb Benavidez or someone of around that size of 175+ on fight night. They would walk right through them, take his best punches, and hurt him with every punch landed.

When's the last time Haney dropped someone heck he couldn't even drop China chin Linares and he's been down a ridiculous amount of times yet Haney dropped Prograis a guys who shown to be more durable hahahaa ok yea I'm sure the added 25lb didn't help against a much lighter guy at fight night. Cmon bro!
