His strategy with boxing always seemed like it was about giving away (energy, plan...) as little as possible to me. I think he was old school as a boxer with believing promoters should do the promoting, but besides Eddie no promoter really does the job old school promoters did. He was in the wrong era for that obv.

Nothing wrong with that, its the way it should be I feel but everyone seems to want anyone on TV to be a train wreck viral social media star. Look what it did for Broner who had talent at one point but no way should he have been in the position he was in and gotten all of the chances he had gotten based on his wins or in ring performances.

Interesting how you claim GGG ducked Ward though its impossible since they were never in the same weightclass yet you ducked my question about when. You have no idea what's in these negotiations.

I’m a big fan of Andre Ward the fighter and his career. When Mikkel Kessler was the favorite to win the Super 6, I said it was Ward even though he wasn’t proven or known very well yet. I always believed he was a great fighter and was going to be really hard to beat.

With that said, Ward as a retired boxer, announcer, I don’t like him all that much. I’m all for calling out racism, i’m strongly against the hate of black fighters, but Ward takes it to another level. He’s also unprofessionally biased towards them and can’t be trusted to properly call a fight between a black fighter and a fighter of races.
