I think you could make a legitimate argument for Parker being Wilders BEST winWilder is 50/50 against top 10 opponents, Parker would possibly be his best or 2nd best win if he pulls it off and we hadn't seen him get hit since the two thrashings Fury gave him so he is still at the end of his career of known quality. He has power, its a bit over exaggerated and we know he can't box, even said he didn't want or need to learn.
I rate Parker as a good all round heavyweight, and belive he has the ability to beat Wilder but his mindset of switching off in fights and having lazy rounds makes me feel he will give Wilder too much time and space to line up the right hand.
I did like Parker in the Mckean fight, although he was a low level opponent Parker dealt with him the right way.

Don't know if Parker outpoints, or stops Wilder or if Wilder stops or outpoints parker. But Wilder would be Parkers and Wilder s best wins.
But more importantly for Wilder, historically he will be up there with Cooney and Shavers as one of the hardest punchers ever.
All punchers need a man with a reputation for tough chin on their resumes.Last edited by hugh grant; 12-13-2023, 08:07 AM.Comment

This is actually this funniest shít i've ever read, didn't Fury never once drop Chisora in 3 fights, yet Wilder got beat pillar to post and stopped by Fury who can't punch his way out of a wet paper bag, so it's not like it's out of the realm of possibility that Parker chins him...
And Parker did drop Chisora multiple times and he's only really been stopped by Haye and Whyte whilst clearly taking risks and in doing so making himself vulnerable.
Also Whyte held on the ropes for a good 20 seconds and the Ref allowed him to or he would of been stopped by Parker in the 12th...Comment

"...but these older guys who have already taken punches, and who have already been in these tough wars - I really advise the referee to look after these guys."
Malik, Malik, Malik. You just described your guy to the tee. Of course, you know, Deontay is 38, while Joseph is 31? While the tough fights Parker had vs Whyte and Joyce may have affected him some, the wars that Wilder had vs Fury, have taken years off Deontay.

Well Wilder has only really stopped Breazeale and Ortiz worth noting .
Parker’s knockouts are poor but he’s fought most top guys ,Joyce , Joshua , Ruiz . Whyte , H . Fury , Chisora. His step up fights were definitely against most guys known to be hard to get stoppages against . I think knockouts aren’t really the factor here it’s will Wilder be able to stop Parker , Parker doesn’t need a stoppage to win I think most agree Wilder won’t out point him .
One has to assume the best Parker is showing up and can hurt Wilder who I still say has a fragile chin , I think we’re going to find out if I’m right or wrong in this fight we’ll see how Wilder reacts to getting hit where no one can claim any 6”9 guy bullied him . Ortiz hit him multiple times and he was saved by the bell that’s just a fact in the first fight .
I think Parker wins this ,fights smart and actually stops Wilder late mostly bc of Wilders inactivity,if Wilder wins though it makes the Joshua fight much better .Last edited by juggernaut666; 12-13-2023, 01:19 PM.Comment

has AJ even mentioned wilders name recently? is he interested in a fight with him at all or is he just hoping wilder gets old overnight? if both guys come through their fights surely the saudies will demand it finally happen, they both have decent opponents to shine against and hype the next fight up as much as possible leading to a nice payday againComment
