just when you thought a boxers father couldnt be more delusional or annoying than Angel Garcia or Ruben Guerrero, Bill Haney steps up and says "challenge accepted"......

There's still Lopez Sr. to rival him in the same way as Garcia and Guerrero back when. At least papa Haney doesn't seem to be an active crackhead, but he's getting up there in the delusional stakes.

Im wondering if Bill has a weird idea that if he can make Devin hated he will be as big as Floyd, I don't like seeing fathers live through their son boxers, Devin is the one taking the punches not Bill he needs to simmer his Ego before all his mouthing of effects Devin in a negative way.

ehh im not too sure about that

at 25, the only hof scalp on floyd's record was corrales
and im 99% sure he is NOT hof material, he got in for "entertainment purposes" the same way gatti did.

at 25, haney has loma's scalp. granted, it was barely considered a win, but he got the job done.

so they're about tied at the same age when it comes to hof scalps.

when you want to compare head to head of previous and current gen, ABC belts matter less because you can have someone like broner who is legitimately a 4-division world champion but was carefully "managed" until his head got big.

Ya when Floyd was young he was stopping people , Haney is afraid to get hit and clearly has a glass chin, he doesn't throw alot of punches whatsoever, Floyd only started to go the distance in his 30s even then he would bully his opponents and beat them up and push them back, haney is good but he is way to scared to fight something Floyd never was

What are you talking about by 25 Floyd had beat Manfredy Hernandez Corrales and Castillo twice, Floyd was a much more dynamic 135 pound fighter, I think he would have stopped Kambosis and Prograis and would beat the breaks of the Loma Haney beat, Devin is a free-flowing boxer but he ain't near Floyd at 135/40, I don't know how he will go at 147 but I cant see Devin sitting in a phone booth with WWs that can really punch, I don't carry much weight in the undisputed sht unless they win it from 3 champions, to get the lot beating Kambosis means little to me as far as being undisputed, I reckon Teo would stop Kambosis if they fought again, the first time wasn't Teo, and that set up a whole chain reaction.

When floyd had a close fight with JLC, he had an immediate rematch. JLC was 10+ pounds heavier than him on fight night.

When Haney had a close fight with mid 30s Loma, whom he has near 20 pounds weight advantage on, he dumped his belts, jumped divisions and fought the weakest opponent at 140 with a belt, a mid 30s plodder with the right style to make him look good.
