What a dumb assessment. Robeisy a crowd pleaser just because he exchanged punches? What does that make Espinoza? He had more heart like most Mexicans, never hugging even when he was almost KOed and fought with an injured ankle since round 2. You wanted Robeisy to fight like most Cubans? Boring. Robeisy fought like all Mexicans do, throwing punches. Roeisy is not blakk, maybe he doesn´t fight like the boring typical Cuban but Espinoza gave him a whooping.

Hey, give me some of what you are smoking cause you did not see the fight. Espinoza was lucky that the rpound was almot over? So was Ramirez, he was on the verge of getting KOed but the vell saved him and he strted holding for dear life in the last round. You gotta be Cuban,
Bad luck for both guys Rd was over so Espinoza saved but Espinoza was boxing Robeisy ears off then got caught playing with his stance and boom.
I feel for Robeisy he's always been one of my guys since he whooped Shakur for Gold but he has nothing to be ashamed of he showed crazy heart.Comment

Not enough body work. That round where Rob started throwing unnecessary haymakers when it was becoming clear that he was not going to stop dude is where he lost the fight imo as he punched himself out but given the scorecards seems best he could have hoped for was to get out of there with a draw...
I'll be 1st to admit I haven't followed his career too closely but they keep talking like he was some big huge puncher and I'm going like "since when?" I never recalled him standing out as a big puncher in the past. It's all about who you are knocking out. Obviously tonight proved that was in fact not the case as he was beatin by a mere journeyman with limited skills.Comment

I think anyone in the division has issues with Espinoza. He is 6'1 with a massive reach and he showed a decent defense with incredible heart. He doesn't have one punch KO power, but he throws alot of hard shots in bunches. Not enough body work. I think Robeisy likely beats him in a rematch, just because he would fight alot smarter. He obviously thought of Espinoza as a journeyman as well. But the Mexican's height and heart will keep him any fight.

How is it a dumb assessment? I was just giving my own opinion as I see this fight. Also where did I imply Robeisy should fight like other Cuban or black with boring style?

My take here is Robeisy didn't make adjustments and he just fought one way and never changed style even though he had arsenal and style to change style and make adjustments as the fight goes on.
You should calm down with your aggressive comment. I was just giving my own opinion as I see things unfold. Your unnecessary projection and aggression is not needed.Comment

Lol you might wanna go take a look at my previous post about this fight so relax buddy. I had Espinoza winning comfortably I was just responding to a guy who said Ramirez was unlucky cuz the rd ended. But he failed to mention that Espinoza was boxing his ears off and winning easily before getting caught switching stance.

Ramirez tried switching it up but he couldn't, he had a guy inffront of him who was skilled, very active and with heavy hands Robeisy was screwed from the get go.Comment

Naw Robeisy losses worse in a rematch. Keep in mind it was Espinoza outboxing Ramires easier before the careless Kd in the 5th that helped Ramirez but once Espinoza gathered himself he picked up where he left off and kept beating on Ramirez.

Ramirez won rds 5 - 9 pretty damn clean that’s not Espinoza dominating the whole fight though.
Right guy won, but it’s not like Ramierez didn’t have his moments in there.Comment

Ramirez was looking for the KO from round 1. He fought ****** the whole fight. He did not have to take 80 shots a round to the face. Espinoza is tough as hell, but in my opinion, in a rematch, Ramirez would stick and move far more, stay out of the pocket and attack the body from the get go. Espinoza was done in 5, another 30 seconds and it was over. And yes, Espinoza knocked Ramirez down simply with volume in the last round, Robeisy was spent and took a knee.
Just an obvious case of an overconfident champion thinking it was an easy nights work. And Espinoza is no joke. And I in no way guarantee Ramirez wins a rematch, but I see a totally different strategy for Ramirez if it happens.
Ramirez got caught trying to prove he could not be hurt instead of thinking about doing what he needed to do to win. Very amateurish night for him mentally.
I want to see Espinoza in the rematch and in with a few other top guys before I form a solid opinion on him. As I said, he gives any guy in the division a damn good fight, he made a fan of me. His chin seems a bit suspect, he was wobbled several times and a few weren't huge shots. But he has no fear or quit in him. Fun to watch.
