You said it: “Easier said than done.” I don’t want to take anything at all away from Espinoza. It’s not necessarily Ramirez’s shortcomings that lost it, but also Divino’s qualities that won the fight. It could be that Espinoza has Robeisy’s number, and a rematch will result in the same outcome. I would like to see them run it back and see for sure. These two put on a great show. It’s what the fans want.

I love boxers who go to the body hard. Navarrete is another one who’s real big on going to the body.

Did anyone catch that fall in either rd 6 or 7 not sure but Espinoza looked like he landed an uppercut either to the body or head and Robeisy went down it was ruled a slip but espn never showed a replay.

I saw it. Wasn’t sure if it was a slip or a knockdown, but the ref was quick about it and no one made a stink. No replay to watch, so…

Yea Robeisy didn't seem hurt at all but don't know why they didn't show the replay when they usually do.

I think Lopez is hid toughest test but he beats the rest imo.
i think exactly the same, ive even talked to him about it, venado is akward and heavy handed he could be a problem, also figueroa with his horrible wrestiling style

but honestly if a rematch happens im 90% convinced Rafa will F up robeisy even worse

I personally know Espinoza really really good and let me tell you this wasnt his best camp, and the trip to miami was a real problem too

He is fo real the new player in fw and super fw

Wanna hear something crazy too Espinoza did only 11 amateur foghts here in Guadalajara and won em all thats crazy considering Robeisy did what at least 200? ( boxrec says 126-23 but they always miss more than a few )

Although his record looked good on paper, we’ve seen these types whither against world class opposition. Well, we all got to see that the Mexican is indeed legit. I can’t find fault with his performance. He appears a little lightfisted, but that’s about it.

I agree wholeheartedly that Ramirez needed to attack the body. But I wonder about his ability to do that. That high guard I keep harping about is the sign of a fighter who’s not very good at infighting. Robeisy would throw a punch or two, put his hands up, let Espinoza throw five, six, seven punches, then repeat. Hard to win fights that way, especially against a much taller and well-conditioned man.
i assure you that he isnt light fisted robeisey is as tough as they come and still went down

Espinoza left hook to the body has been responsible for most of his Kos

Sometimes you have to wonder if that many many Amateur fights is too much.

Always wondered that myself but when they start really young its normal to amount to that much i did 64 and ive got two pros now at the gym one did 184 and the other one 225 because they starter at 11 years old Espinoza started boxing at 16 and turned pro at 18 so just 11
