Haney @ 140 beats Ryan Garcia as he always had, he also beats Rolly now Haney vs a healthy minded teofimo should win by decision. Haney with his footwork vs Matias same size decent speed but amazing power would offer the most intriguing matchup for Haney. Haney talks about 147 but boots would murk that fool and bud would beat him within 4rds
No. I believe he has one fight left on his Matchroom contract. Paro, Steve Spark, or Barboza (who just signed with GBP). Prograis blew his opportunity at another big fight with this and the last performance.

Yep but always remember that ish is a lot harder than it looks. Fighting Haney is basically like Fighting a bootleg Mayweather Jr. Their whole game is based on distance and timing and Devin was already bigger than Regis making it virtually impossible for him to win.

          • Roogaro looked like a little kid fighting Haney. Haney fought as perfect a fight as one can. Haney deserves credit for this boxing Master Class. I still think Mathis is more that willing to go inside even if you hit him with a baseball bat. Mathis just looks like a machine who will take whatever you throw and then beat your ass. Mathis also has a chin made out of granite and reinforced with titanium. Cong**** to Haney for a beautiful performance and iron clad gameplay that he executed to perfection.

Haney is too big an skilled now..Tank refuses to fight at 140lbs so that's out and Haney already beat Teo up in sparring so no doubt Teo would want some astronomical amount of money to face Devin because he already knows he would retire him for good.

Don't put to much stock in the Josh Taylor win because lets be honest, white dudes age like milk Josh was 30+ years old and had been in some wars and inactive for a while, Teo did his thing but it was clear Josh wasn't the same guy anymore.

              • I told you folks that Haney would give Prograis a boxing clinic. I hope people will start giving this lad credit for his mastering of the game. He's only going to get stronger and better. Congratulations champ!

                • As usual we have the moronic: "Ahh 140 is a sucky division anmyway" No its not! For so many reasons, then we have the "Ahhh haney gets smoked by Teo, Tak etc" Baloney. Those are good fights if they can be made...
here is the thing: Haney, Tank, Teo Ryan, any guy at 135 under 25 years old is growing, they are getting their man strength and will quite naturally be ready to fight at 140, even higher. It is not the same as a guy in his prime, or twilight moving up... it is also not the same as guys like Bronner who tried to keep their weight unnaturally low, for an advantage.

When a young guy gets a little bigger they get a little stronger, faster, it is natural. Haney looked a bit in the weigh in like he may have bulked, I do not think he did. He grew into 140 and beyond.

As for Regis... great career, but damn 4 inch reach disadvantage, age disadvantage and just not at the same technical level as Haney... That is what we saw tonight, Kudos to Haney who showed levels to the game. Haney is coachable and anyone who thinks anyone at 135-147 walks over him, I respectfully disagree. Regis at his best? many people think this was the one fight he lost before this one... He may have gotten a crack, or two at Haney, but as some have said like DanB: "He was always limited, no use of angles" and no real footwork.

haney did not go for the KO his father wanted him to stick to the plan... so it is entirely possible he could have gotten the KO.

Are you going to weep forever for the scared fighting Loma? So pathetic. Haney beat him. Period.
