Matias has been saying it for a few years now. Regis was never that good. He's not a good boxer or a good brawler. He's caught in betweem styles.

Prograis is a counter-puncher. He needed to be more of a pressure fighter to beat Haney, but that obviously isn't who he is. Matias has the right style for Haney, but I think Haney will have him circling and hitting air too.

I wish tonight didn't play out the way it did because I wanted a Matias/Prograis unification, but I knew in my gut that Haney was going to make Prograis look bad.

Haney looked like a complete different fighter at 140....he usually gasses almost completely out by the 7th. The higher weight has 100% helped his stamina and he has a lot more pop.

I gave Regis the first round and had the second round as a swing but pretty much a shutout
