Comments Thread For: Robeisy Ramirez On Ring Activity: I Couldn't Be More Pleased With This Schedule

Robeisy Ramirez has gone from a potential bust to boxing's most active titleholder all in a span of just over four years. The double Olympic Gold medalist risks his WBO featherweight title versus Guadalajara's Rafael Espinoza. Their scheduled twelve-round clash will mark his second title defense, which comes just eight months after Ramirez outpointed former 122-pound titlist Isaac Dogboe this past April.

I'm not expecting 5 fights constantly, but a champion fighting atleast 2-3 times a year is always nice.

One step at a time, but hopefully he uses next year to unify in prep for the Inoue match which is a guarantee as long as Robeisy keeps active and winning.

In this era of boxing, I’m good with 3X per year for a champion. I’m happy to see Robeisy wants to stay active. His best earning years won’t be for long, and he hasn’t started to make his best purses yet. Gotta get out there and make that bread.

His motivation and activeness along with an enjoyable style is what makes me look forward to him getting the mega million purse vs Inoue sometime early 2025.

Definitely an aggressive fighter, even from his amateur days.
