An interesting topic is fighters who didn't think they could beat their opponent but went onto win? Of course there are upsets, and underdogs win. Buster Douglas was underdog who beat tyson but Buster probably thought he'd best Tyson even if no-one thought he would. So that don't count.Comment

Miguel cotto....for whatever reason he was a ****er at 140, lost his power and chin from 47-54, and started back putting people in their ass at 60...
Floyd caught a rude awakening from a cotto who he thought was a chinny quitter..cotto is an example on how weight helps some of these guys
Cotto was on ***** street at 140 from torres and his chin got a lot better at 147, I think it was the weight cut. Foreman had a granite chin when he was old and fat but not when he was younger, weird.
I dont think cottos power increased at 160 though, he only had 3 fights at >154, stoppage of geale who wasnt any good and sergio whose knees were ***ed that fight, came in wearing knee supports and whobbling around, cant move out of the way of punches, he had no business coming into the fight with injured knees like that and milked the fans and cashed out.

Crawford and canelo already mentioned.
Pacquaio's first run at 147, yeah he had power at the lower weights but the way he carried it to 147, I would say demonstrates an INCREASE in power since hes now knocking out larger dudes and he was still an accumulation punchers at the lower weightsComment

Yeah. I'm trying to think of someone who was considered feather fisted at a weight class, then moved up and was stopping guys. So far, the guys mentioned were stopping guys at the lower weight class. Like Smith stopped Groves, which was a good stoppage. Groves is tough. I'm really struggling to think of someone, but the Haney's seems to be absolutely confidence that Haney's going to stop Regis. However, I remember they were saying the same thing about JoJo Diaz. Bill was saying, "The KO is coming, the KO is coming." After every round. lol
Haney cant punch out a wet paper bag, they are nuts he wont stop regisComment

I hear you and believe them in saying they’re going to KO Haney. Part of me thinks that they gained an overdose of confidence from fighting Loma. Youngin’ seems like he’s feeling invisible right now! They good be great or terrible tomorrow.Comment
