Hamed didn't he had long reign at 126 pounds. I would say Gatti lowered the bar to the point that if he is in then why not these other guys. When Moorer is in will there be any debate now with Wilder and Joshua...

Corrales is the definition of a warrior. He would’ve fought to the death if you let him.

There hasn't been tbh. Yeah Joshua got buzz and fury got some but there heavyweights like you said but there are a few guys in the UK who do sell alot of tickets. Josh Warrington for example . Domestic level guys like Nathan Heaney and Johnny fisher sell alot of tickets and have a following.

but Hatton just had that working class background and way about him that fans just identified with he was a guy you could go have a drink with in the pub and to this day you wont see a british fighter take 10k fans to america not even heavyweights could do that

Yeah, I was a big fan of Warrington. Josh Taylor also.. still am. I hate that their careers have suddenly gone downhill, despite being so talented. Especially Josh Taylor.. he was the best fighter out of the UK in my opinion for a few years and had the best run at 140 in the last decade. Who are some good promising prospects to look out for in the Uk? I’m looking forward to Edwards vs Jesse

Thing about Taylor is that he never got the backing from the broadcasters because he wasn't a big ticket seller even tho he deserved the backing because he is probably one of the best fighters to come from the UK in the past decade. But I remember his undisputed fight with Ramirez wasn't even Broadcast on UK TV which was crazy

And as for prospects in the UK I'd say Adam Azim(140),Dalton smith(140),Pat McCormack(147/154),Peter Mcgrail(122). There probably the most talented coming though especially McCormack Olympic silver medalist and just so talented he'll be ready to mix it at top level sooner rather than later.

Not a bad resume especially if you believe Broner will get in.
Bradley won titles in 2 divisons. It's so many fighters with that resume that's not in the hall of fame like Zab Judah

Every fighter that won titles in 4 divisions is in. That's the difference.

Bradley beat better fighters for sure. But it's guys with better resumes that aren't in the hall of fame.

Bradley being on tv for the last 5 years helped him get votes imo. If he retired and we never seen him again. I don't think he would already be in the hall of fame

Award ceremonies generally are garbage. It reinforces the idea that an elite group of gatekeepers get to decide what's great or has cultural meaning. Plus the actual presenting of them is bread and circuses for the brain dead masses. "Duh, look at all the superior rich and famous people."
