Comments Thread For: Regis Prograis: "I Really Knock People Out, Haney Can't Knock **** Out"

To a certain extent, Regis Prograis believes he's being picked on. For the past few years, seldom is he ever called out. His track record, of course, is a big reason why. With wins over Jose Zepeda, Julius Indongo, and Terry Flanagan, Prograis has proven that he isn't the type to play around with his food. However, despite sending most of his opponents home in a stretcher, Devin Haney believes he's vulnerable.

What Prograis fails to realize, I'm assuming, is that Haney doesn't have to.

If Prograis is worried about knock outs then he's already setting himself up to lose. Haney doesn't commit to anything. He'll hang back and win on points so much so that even when there is a clear skill disparity (see: Kambosos) he won't take advantage of it to dominate an opponent offensively.

Prograis will be outboxed and not even realize why with the way he is talking about no knock outs. He'll get jabbed 1000x and lose UD. Haney doesn't need knock outs to do that.

Big surprise if Haney gets a KO but probably not. Would like to see Prograis do what others couldn't do to Haney.

Haneys usual tricks dont work as good on a southpaw especially 1 with strength. I think this fight is a lot closer than what the odds makers are giving.

I'm pretty sure he does realize that. This statement is either to scare/intimidate Haney or to goad him into coming forward.

Haney is dull and over hyped rubbish. Hope Regis knocks the granny out of him.

Haney wins this easy. His superior skills and youth would make the difference

I hope Regis can put an end to this snooze train before it gains anymore momentum. The only fight I can mostly recall with Haney was the Loma match and in that match, I didn't see him look good. The fight wasn't that good either and Loma did try to make it somewhat entertaining.

I'm hoping Regis can splatter this dude, but I think it's going to be a hit and move all around the ring type fight with Regis chasing and losing a boring UD. Boy I hope I'm wrong and I hope I have something else to watch Saturday night so I have a good excuse to avoid tuning in.

'Sitting on the outside and boxing with Haney might put Prograis in a hirsute situation.'

I'm sorry, that literally makes no sense whatsoever, Prograis has hair, he has braids, he ain't gonna have more or less hair according to how he fights v Haney. IDK what word was wanted there but it certainly wasn't hirsute.
