Maybe Shakur should stop acting like he's this box office draw that everyone wants to see.

If the reports are true and he offered Martin 25%, that's ridiculous.

And neither Martin nor Zepeda can command enough revenue to incentivize PBC or Golden Boy to make this fight. Plus Oscar flat out doesn’t match his guys thought. Mungia, Ramirez, etc. Remember Oscar didn’t want the Garcia/Tank fight.

I like Zepeda but wonder what sort of testing he has undergone.
His workrate sure seems a little sus. Its not like he is throwing little love taps either. Seems superhuman actually.
If he is clean he is almost a total anomaly that's for sure.
his work rate is su****ious? so the Mexican can't be that good? but if it was Tank, martin, shakur or haney you wouldn't question right? cause they are black so they have to be athletic.... what a racist jerk

The logically understandable reasoning for Martin to refuse the Shakur fight was that he wanted to save his zero to sell to Tank for bigger money. Now him calling out for Zepeda who would probably also defeat him while giving him even less money than Shakur would have makes zero sense.

Maybe Davis isn't interested in fighting him next?

Frank is a quality opponent but that 25% would be a career high payday and a chance to fight the best guy in the division.

Imo that is an excuse by Martin not to fight. I

Agree it is the best deal Shakur could offer him but that doesn’t make it a bad deal.

Same argument I made about the flat fee no ppv offer to Manny.

Wasn’t the best offer money wise, but it was over 40% more than he had ever made with the bulk of the ppv.

Frankly, better boxers than Frank have taken worse deals to get a chance to elevate their careers.

So was it an excuse by Shakur not to take Haney up on his 25% offer to fight for undisputed?
