He'd be ranked fairly high, but him being American wouldn't change my views of him. Beating Calzaghe would be a very good win, and Bika would be a good one as well, and Manfredo, well......

The win over Hopkins would still have the same significance to me as it did with Calzaghe--a good win.

I really don't count the Jones win, because frankly, he's so past his prime it's funny.

I just wanted people to pretend that it was Jeff Lacy who had beaten Calzaghe and all of those fighters. I know that he couldn't have beaten them, but just to imagine how popular or unpopular he may have been had he won those fights.

It would depend on the timetable. If it took him another couple years to meet Kessler, then waited until Jones (who was already done) and Hopkins were in their 40s, he'd be served an even bigger heap of ****. It's not as if he'd have some travel overseas excuse, or my promoter is too kooky to make fights reason, so fans would ream him if he went at it that way.
