Poor Joshua looked absolutely terrified and nervous he was going to hear a "Body on the Record" reference, but Deontay is behaving to appease the Saudis.

This would have been a TERRIBLE presser if not for Chisora and Miller though.

    Genuinely concerned for Parker though.

Press conferences have stars now? Have we really sunk this low as boxing fans?

Curious what people think about what Deontay said in the interview after: the Saudis are trying to "save" boxing.

Does throwing boatloads of cash at fighters to get them in the ring save it, or harm it more?

Better question: why don't the Saudis just buy out one of the networks (HBO) and put boxing back on free TV?

Because their event is like a fair or some such. They're just making Riyadh Season as big and neat as they can. Boxing is really a small element in the bigger picture for the Saudis. The Season's a softwar tactic to Americanize their peoples. HBO really wouldn't do that. Bringing the world to them is like a flex and ****.

I think it was just a polite thing to say.
          Boxing is doing fine.

Save American Football. Public schools will ban it within 20 years. How will talent be generated once that happens?

The YouTube boxing media has, of which the desperate OP is very much a part.

Amateur psychologists just see what they want to see at these things. It's mostly the stuff of nonsense.
