Explain please. Who are they trying to be equal with?

Also, most women train to fight two minute rounds. What about those who don't want three minute rounds? Serrano is totally entitled to her opinion. But we do all realize that biologically, women have less dense bones, and that more punches will mean more likelihood of brain damage?
the wbc say they are holding out to see medical evidence on the topic

imagine serrano gets what she demands and then someone gets seriously injured or dead soon after, what will amanda do i wonder? cry or pray she doesnt get sued or something else i wonder

im just putting forward a possible scenario here

Amanda Serrano is a fuc&^* lesbian idiot. If she wants to be equal, then she should box a MALE.
On the other hand, if she wants to fight 3-minutes round, why doesn't she?
And lastly, she does not generate money at all to be paid what she demands to be paid.

Right. It almost seems like people supporting this want to see women get more damaged.

Women can be strong, intelligent and compete against each other. Men are biologically made to be strong, protect, fight.

If women want to box, that is their choice. It is a free country. But their bones break alot easier, and their skulls aren't as thick, if their brain gets knocked around like a man's, they exponentially increase their risk of permanent brain damage.

When woke meets biological fact, idiocy and name calling ensue.

we also have to take into consideration that women hit less hard than men so potentially less damage but whether this is the major factor in it i dont know

they already know what the injury rate is for women boxers so if they make the change it can be monitored, too late for some if it goes up tho

Volume of punches matters alot more in terms of risk of brain damaging the other fighter. Far better to get hit really hard a few times and stopped, a sustained volley of medium power punches allows the opponent to keep fighting and stay on their feet, thus taking more and more damage.

Accumulation is the largest factor by far in death during a boxing match. That's why refs stop fights where one guy seems on his feet and ok, but are sustaining huge amounts of shots.

It is really a bad scenario for women. Because they don't hit as hard, and their skulls and bones are far less dense than a males.

But we should support Serrano because, like, facts don't matter and, like, woke, bruh.

Haha, the split among her being right and wrong is awesome. I can see valid points with both directions. Rare that ever happens around here.

Here you are talking about facts, but the facts are actually that when the comparative size was actually scientifically studied in 2008, women's skulls proved to be thicker than those of men, and men may actually be at a higher risk of head injury, especially since men hit harder.

As far as density goes, younger women have a greater increase in bone mass than men relative to muscle volume, and similar density, where men develop more cross-sectional area. Women's bone density does tend to increase faster post menopause, so they'll probably have more issues as they age, but that's true for men also. That little detail from a peer-reviewed study published the 2011 Journal of Osteoporosis.

Kinda ironic that someone trying to say that facts matter got so many of them wrong.
