I honestly have no problem with 3 minute rounds for women, if both of them agree to it. I won't watch it at all and never have as female boxing is awful and unwatchable imo, but if others support it and the women want to endure more shots over time which will undoubtedly lead to more brain damage, it is a free country.

I do agree with the other poster who said if she wants equality, fight men. At some point the woke mentality eats itself and it is hilarious to watch.

If it's only fair that air time should be commensurate with revenue, then the conclusion is that women's boxing should never be aired. Changing the female's format from 2-min rounds to 3-min rounds is not a move towards equality, it's a move in the opposite direction for it would amount to even greater subsidization from the men's boxing business.
Since the thread is about Serrano let's look at her last event: BoxRec: Event if it's the case that people are only tuning in to watch the men, then what does it matter if her fight is 2 mins or 3 mins? Won't people have turned off by then anyway?

I don’t watch loads of women’s boxing but I’ve seen all the big names and even though Serrano “lost” to Taylor, she has impressed me the most, by far. She’s the p4p #1 imo. If Floyd had wanted to do 2 minute rounds he would have and absolutely no one would have told him otherwise.
Any sport has two opposing sides. All sports have rules. Consequently, one side can't do whatever they want. That's how sport works.

Amanda please remember no fighter is bigger than the sport, after you retire boxing remains. I don't see women tennis players demanding 5 set matches in grand slams like the men. You requested it, but it was denied now get on with it.
Bad take. She knew the rules, and had to play by them to get into the position them for change. Who the h3ll was gonna listen to some random woman about what needs changed in the sport. A lot of fighters are bigger than the sport. What she is doing is what being a champion is all about. A lot of people complain now a days that a lot of champions dont act like it and thats the reason for a lot of the mud in this sport. Champs make money, money makes change.

Katie Taylor has not given up on the idea of a rematch with Amanda Serrano. She is also open to changing the stakes for their long-anticipated sequel. Taylor (2

Then maybe, she isn’t that smart if she is requesting 12-3’s

why dont they take a poll of female fighters to get a read on what people want

do they want to go with what the wbc say or go with what the 3 min rounders say?

It took a fighter with no literal balls to show some figuratively.

F--k these sanctioning belt bodies. They dont hold the real power. The sooner the fighters realize these organizations are just glorified paid wh---s, the better.
