The PBF-JMM ppv sell of 1 million something, is that verified already? If it does, i don't see Pac-Cotto out selling it. My reasons are in JMM, he has a lot of Mexican-Americans to support him. For PBF, well his from the US. Pac only has about 2 million Fil-Ams while Puerto Ricans is also small in population in the US compare to the Mexicans.

If it doesn't... God help boxing. If it takes a Mayweather persona in order to hit the 1 million mark I'll move on to UFC. Actually... if there was more than 1 "Mayweather" in boxing it wouldn't be a sport anymore because no one would fight each other, they'd just brag about how good they are/aren't.

Do you feel that Pac only draws Fil-Ams?

The reason he did not want Pac-Hatton numbers released is because it failed to meet the Mayweather-Hatton number.

For what it's worth, my best source said that I should prokect 750-850K for Firepower. Treat that information as you wish. Keep in mind that the key promotional period lies ahead. They can win or lose in the next month.
Arum could really get in the way of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

Hopefully, the 24-7 series will draw more eye balls to the event.
I hope so too but neither speaks english to well so idk if it would be as appealing as one that has mayweather. I was more excited about seeing Marquez than May but that's bc I had already seen May on 24/7... the "casual" fan will find Mayweather's lifestyle more interesting than we do bc we're used to the bling and bs

                      Protagonista,

But the fans should have been fatigued by mayweather...and fascinated with the newer fighters like Cotto....no?
