What you fail to understand is that the talent pool in boxing as a whole is shallower than it has been decades. Luckily for Breidis and Gassiev, there are 4 belts per weight class. It makes becoming a "champion" easier. Come back with that list!

Americans did those lists. You're an American. Just listen to you and see how credible you are. It's the same with them. They're there to be laughed at. There is no way Jirov, who wasn't a world class fighter, is ahead of many others that were. He's there to make Toney look good and justify him being on the list. it's not my list, it's somebody else's list from 2023. No Breidis, Gassiev, or Huck on it, and all 3 of them are in decline now. They will never be on a list like this. Wow! You're really taking your clear loss hard. It's safe to say Toney's Urban American style would trouble a stiff Brit or Eastern European. This isn't the domestic level you're used to. You have failed to convince me. There's no doubt Toney lost focus for a few years. The way mythical matchups work is the best version of fighter A vs the best version of fighter B. You know that. The version of Toney that beat Jirov beats everybody Usyk did at Cruiserweight. Those guys weren't that good.

Jirov wasn't even world class. He was a decent fringe level fighter. It's why you won't be able to list any world class fighters he beat.

The talent pool is shallower now than it has been in decades. That's why you have 4 weight champs like Broner and Mikey Garcia. You have Haney winning undisputed against Kambosos. And you have Usyk winning undisputed against average competition, and then he won the unified Heavyweight against the weakest champion since Charles Martin.

Yeah, Broner and Mikey took on the very best in every weight class they were in. Haha.

Barkley was clearly past his best when Toney took him on. He lost to Reggie and got a gift. Toney was badly wobbled and dropped in that fight too. It was just one of his many gift decisions. He also lost the first fight to McCallum. Toney won the second fight, but Mccallum was just a bit too far gone by that point. He only had one more good win in him after that loss to Toney against Harding and he was completely done.
