Wow, did not see a Gill stoppage win coming by any means. Conlan has weirdly gone from always being in boring fights when he was significantly better than the guys he was fighting, to now always being in exciting fights when overmatched or evenly matched. Biggest win of Gill's career, I'd like to see him against Zelfa Barrett. I don't want Conlan to retire yet, as I said, his fights are entertaining now. Give him an easy comeback fight against a guy like Billel Dib or Paul Fleming and then go for a cash out fight against Cacace or Jono Carroll

Conlon needs to seriously think about his health. Good amateur, but that Wood fight changed him.

The KO to Wood seems to have taken something out of Michael. He just hasn't got it anymore. He'll have to hang them up

Conlan was very hyped and he believed the hype himself. Once he stepped up in level he can't sustain himself in a fight. Some fighters don't transition well from the amateurs into the pros.
