This is phuckin ****** on all fronts.

    Canelo isn’t fighting Mungia;
    1. PBC isn’t going to sign Canelo to a 100+ million dollar 3 fight deal and have 1 of those 3 fights be vs a non PBC fighter. Not while they have Benevides, Morrell, both Charlo brothers, Tszyu and Adames under contract.
    2. Canelo ain’t doing business with Oscar
    3. Mungia hasn’t done a ******** thing to deserve a Canelo payday. NOTHING!

Berlanga didn’t want to sign with GBP because they’re a sinking ship.
    1. Garcia lost via quit job in his only real test and it looks like he’s leaving GBP.
    2. Zurdo lost badly to Bivol (I still can’t believe that you posted that this was a close fight) and isn’t a big draw.
    3. Mungia has avoided quality opposition for years (must be a reason for that) and isn’t a big draw either.
    4. Ortiz looks like a quality fighter but he has SERIOUS health issues and who knows how that ends.
    5. the rest of the GBP fighters are prospects at best. Why would any fighter sign with GBP?

You'd probably be delighted if Berlanga-Rosado or Berlanga-Jacobs was announced instead. Expand your horizons a little!

If Berlanga, get's past McCrory, he has to step up against the top ten of the division for his 23rd opponent.
Hopefully he'll fight three times in 2024, to make a truly honest effort at earning, and challenging for the 168 pound championship.
I think they still want to make Ryder-Munguia, but if they don't, it may well be Berlanga's next fight.
Mbilli isn't realistic, he's with another promoter.
Plant isn't realistic, he's with another promoter.
Derev is a good shout but he's fighting Ballard instead on a GBP show; they may well have had an option on him or owed him a fight.
Scull and Shishkin (a) may well be good (too good for Berlanga, he might lose even though he'd get no credit beforehand by casuals for the matchup) (b) are highly ranked so would want decent money and (c) have absolutely no profile (particularly Scull). So they'd never go there.

Why would PBC do that??? That just bad buisness. It's going to be Canelo vs. Benavidez next

That's funny. Naw wouldn't care to watch either of those, would rather watch this one.
