Yeah cuz Canelo is on a streak of stopping people. He's shown no indication lately that he'll stop someone like Benavidez.

If there is a boxer who people say Nelo should fight it is Benavidez whose name comes up most. So if Nelo fights and beats him, surely it will be a tremendous win? It will be, but of course people will still criticise the win. Wonder what the excuses will be? I know, but i thought id just get it out there now.

bruh, benavidez aint show nothing in his last fight that he will be competitive against canelo. his opponent aint got no heart and decided to give benavidez an early x-mas gift by quitting.

Everyone outside of Charlo has been competitive with Canelo. There's nothing to show that Benavidez won't have success based off how Canelo's been performing recently.

he's too basic for canelo.. you gotta have high IQ and great boxing skills to give canelo problems.. and canelo said he wasnt 100% for his last few fights which is why his performance was average.

Oh course he's going to say he wasn't 100%. He can't accept that he's slowing down because of all the wear and tear. He's not suddenly going to become the Alvarez of yesteryear. David has tangibles that will give Canelo issues. Will he win? That needs to be determined in the ring but saying he's too basic is being too shortsighted.

well, he looked great in his last fight and prior to that fight he said he is now 100% healthy and that you will see the old canelo back and he gave the fans exactly that right?

Looking great against a career JMW who didn't want to engage is hardly showing that he's back to old form. Stick him in with someone more on his size and level and I'm sure we'd see the same issues that we've been seeing.
