Boxing has changed so much it's all about the money. If you aren't prepared to fight your mandatory then why fight for the title. Just fight who you want and get the money and iet the other fighters get on with it.

Crawford in reality has a half ass career his best win was his last fight yet he has no future HOF on his resume but it's the media that spoiled him for praising him before even proving himself against the best now he has one good win and he's done ready to cash out lol thats your new generation lol

        Here's the problem.

When Mikey Garcia, a lightweight, "saw something" and challenged Spence after being highly rated at 147 when he shouldn't have been, NSB criticized that jump and never gave Spence the credit for what became a Top 5 Welterweight win. Spence never called Mikey out, he went with it because pretty much all of the orgs, NSB and the social media fans overrated Mikey after he dominated Broner, Lipinets and Bunny.

But all of a sudden, when it's Crawford trying to fight a Super Middleweight, NSB is cool with it.

There are obvious bias reasons as to why one was acceptable and the other not.

Also, if he vacated all of the 147 titles, he can do whatever and we'd be cool with it. The fact he's sitting on the belts AND calling out lightweights, jr. middleweights and super middleweights is the issue.

All he has to do is vacate 147 - ALL of them - and we'd be absolutely cool with whatever he wants to do and whoever he wants to fight. The reason he doesn't vacate is that he knows that without belts, he's not worth getting in the ring with.

Which is why Boots and/or Crowley (preferrably Boots) remain the best options for him - and yes, he CAN fight Boots, he doesn't want to.

He should be asked about the rematch, whether it got any chance of happening or not.

I like Crawford and believe that he has been a world class fighter for a very long time but let's be honest. Beating Spence was the biggest win in his career. Spence was his first high profile opponent in his career. He didn't have the luxury of fighting four kings like Leonard or someone else. Now that he is at the mountain top, he can pick and choose his fights. This is good and his right but leaves a stain in the boxing public's mouth. #1 contenders have to work their way to the top to get a title shot. Boots has worked his way to the top and deserves a shot at fighting Crawford. Crawford had to work his way to the top to get his title shot. By making the statement he did about fighting Boots, he isn't honoring the time earned boxing tradition of the champion fighting the #1 contender.

They should strip Crawford of all of his titles and let Boots and the top contenders at welterweight fight each other. Crawford knows that deep deep down that Boots is one guy that could beat him. If Crawford were to take the fight train really really hard he could beat Boots. That fight would go a long way toward Crawford solidifying his HOF credentials. Lennox Lewis fought lots of #1 contenders during his day.

Titles are mainly used as bargaining chips in negotiations.

Jesus. He has a contractual rematch with Spence, and it could be at 147. So you are saying that Bud should vacate before the contractual rematch?

Do you even think before you write your posts? Does logic even come into play? Lol.

The Bud hate causes literal delusional thinking.

I agree with this statement 100%. Seems like fighters today want all of the reward without taking many risks. Crawford is still young enough where he still has all of his physical gifts to beat Boots. I would like to see him take that risk of fighting Boots.
